Brave Soul Collective presents Voices of Resilience:
Concrete Abstractions
Live in Washington DC on Tuesday June 24th, 2008 at 8pm

After a groundbreaking performance last month as part of Run of The Mill Theatre's Variations on Power Satellite festival, Brave Soul Collective returns to DC this month with a presentation of the work from the stageplay, "A Communion With Kings" written by Dyron Holmes, coupled with a presentation of scenes from a new work by playwright, Rashad Moody entitled, "The Meeting".
Aptly titled, Concrete Abstractions, this performance will showcase work that speaks to life, love, sexuality, racism, HIV/AIDS, survival, & redemption.
This performance will also serve as BSC's farewell performance at Warehouse Theater where we've done pretty much all of our events in DC. Warehouse will unfortunately be closing its doors at the end of July, so we wanted to do this show to round out the amazing, inspirational, groundbreaking work BSC has been able to do in this miraculous artspace.
The evening promises to be one you won't want to miss.
