Greetings to all the Brave Soul Fam...

We just wanted to give everyone a brief update on where things are in the land of the 'Brave Souls'.
We had a pretty busy month in May with a bunch of performances, appearances, and most of all, our TWO YEAR ANNIVERSARY! Read on to find out more details about what we did in May...

May saw the premiere of our performance, Voices of Resilience: Meditations thru Words, Sounds, & Rhythm which took place on May 7th in Baltimore. The performance which featured scenes from the stageplay, A COMMUNION WITH KINGS by Brave Soul Family/Friend Dyron Holmes was a success and we're working on an upcoming production of "Voices of Resilience" in Washington DC. Immediately following that performance in Baltimore, Brave Soul Collective ventured down to Austin, Texas where we were featured artists & performers at the 16th Annual HIV/STD Conference. Brave Soul Artists Monte, Tim'm, Ashley Phillips, KeithRomell, & Jared Shamberger gave an amazing performance during the opening of the conference that left participants talking for the rest of the week!.

Later that week, after returning to our various homebases, BSC was featured & performed at various DC Black Pride Events---Including DC Black Pride's Soul Cafe, and The Annual Us Helping Us Picnic in the Park. Many thanks to Brave Souls Baron & ButtaFlySoul (both of NYC) & Ashley Phillips (of Philly) for helping to make those performances a huge success! As if that all wasn't enough activity to keep us all busy, Monte and some of the DC based Brave Soul Family members celebrated BSC'S Two Year Anniversary on Saturday May 24th with the Brave Soul Discussion Gathering/Bash which was not only amazing, but entertaining and inspirational.
We're glad to be here expanding our Brave Soul family and connecting with people across the country and abroad. It hardly seems like two years have passed, and we're showing no signs of stopping anytime soon. Many thanks to all the organizations and individuals who were instrumental in all of our events going so well this past month, and for that matter this past two years!

We'll be back with some new updates to the BSC site for everyone to take in within the next couple of weeks as well as some details on some upcoming Brave Soul Collective events and performances for June.
