Greetings to all the Brave Soul Fam reading this...

Just wanted to let you all know that we're taking a much needed vacation and period of rest & relaxation this summer after a whirlwind of activities and events in the last couple of months. We do have some updates (a new feature, topic-of-the-month, etc) that will be up very soon, but in the meantime we just wanted to send out thanks to all those who sent up prayers and well wishes for us last month as we put on our final show at Warehouse Theater in Washington DC.

Voices of Resilience: Concrete Abstractions was an absolute success and we're ever so grateful not only to our amazing cast and crew who pulled together and put on an evening of inspiring theatre, but also to all the beautiful people who came to lend their support in the audience. The evening was a magical one and anyone who was there can tell you it was something very inspirational, entertaining and remarkable. Many thanks to the playwrights Rashad A. Moody whose work in progress, The Meeting went over extremely well. Of course BSC would like to thank Dyron Holmes, playwright of the work presented from his amazing play, A Communion With Kings.
After a great performance in Baltimore, MD back in May we presented the same show to the DC audience to what were rave reviews and lots of beautiful, encouraging feedback.
We were blessed to have an amazing cast of dedicated and talented brothers onstage & we're forever grateful to them for all of their hard work and commitment to helping us produce solid, quality, and most of all, honest art.

As some of you may or may not know, putting on a show of that magnitude is a HUGE undertaking, thus BSC (particularly Monte) is taking some time to reflect, rest, regroup, and enjoy the summer. We promise to return however with some great insightful topics and works of art for all the BSC supporters very soon. For anyone who knows him, you'll know he doesn't sit still for TOO long however and his wheels are ALWAYS turning and even while he's resting, he's writing, thinking, reflecting, and working on the next BSC endeavor/project...

In the meantime, we hope you all are enjoying the summer and the beautiful weather.
