Greetings to everyone reading these words...

We're back for the month of December with a small update to the website to round out 2008.
This has been an extremely busy and successful year for us at BSC, and we're looking forward to all the changes that will inevitably come with a new year. We're especially excited and optimistic about having a new President of the United States with Barack Obama in office! On that same note,

in the spirit of the outcome of the election, there were many thoughts surrounding what 'Barack Obama administration' would look like and how it would function. It was from that perspective that the topic for this month evolved. We've addressed "Faith & Fear: (The Road Ahead)" to round out this year and to serve as a prelude for 2009. Although this topic evolved from a larger idea and perspective, the featured article for this month comes from an even deeper, personal look at the concepts of Faith & Fear. In a time when there is plenty of focus on the economy, recession, and a whole host of other things to 'worry about', we thought it was timely to pay some attention to some of the solutions.

As we round out the year and get ready for 2009, we wish all the Brave Soul family a happy, safe, enjoyable holiday season and we look forward to returning with new submissions, articles, artist features and website additions next month. Of course, 2009 also promises plenty of Brave Soul events and performances as well. Be sure to visit the site often to stay updated on what we have going on and where we'll be appearing.
